About Lorna Skeie

Lorna Skeie

I started painting after my children were grown and was employed as a make-up artist for a manniquin company. Since then it has become a daily part of my life. I am blessed to be surrounded by beauty of nature and all things that surround us. My entire life has been in Southern California, so I do love to paint that which I see year round such as flowers, trees, ocean and desert. I have been fortunate to travel extensively and that is a never ending source of subject matter and wonderful memories. My formal training has been with very talented artists, some of national reputation, such as Neil Boyle and Ron McKee.
